The holidays can be a stressful time. With all the cooking, baking, shopping and decorating, your to-do list can sometimes feel out of control. When the stress of the season starts to get to my husband and me, we like to put aside all of the “stuff” and cuddle in front of the fireplace with a fun and festive drink.
I love spiced everything. I wait around every fall for pumpkin spice to make its annual debut. But just because pumpkin drinks are no longer available, doesn’t mean you can’t get your spice on! This drink is full of flavor from the infused cinnamon sticks, allspice berries, and cloves. And although bourbon is usually just a bit strong for me, the lemon-lime soda gives it that touch of sweetness that makes it absolutely delicious. And I like to add cranberries to make it look super festive.
