Nothing says September to me like apples! We have a beautiful orchard not far from us that I like to visit once apple season starts. There is nothing better than fresh apples and fresh cider – YUM! Not to mention that the little store attached to the orchard is the cutest and all decked out with pumpkins, mums and of course, bushels of apples! Totally puts me in the mood for fall!
Usually my apple recipes tend to be baked goods. This one, however, is more on the boozy side! What would be a better fall drink than an apple sangria?
This sangria combines diced granny smith apples, cider, salted caramel vodka, and a Prosecco to give it a nice and refreshing fizz. It tastes best served absolutely cold, so make sure to give it time to chill. You can also add ice to keep it cold.
